Chrysten had the pleasure of playing The Witch in Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods at Greenbrier Valley Theatre in Lewisburg, WV. The production was directed by Courtney Susman with musical direction by Kermit Medsker.
Chrysten played the role of truly wicked stepmom, Victoria, to Hannah (Isabella Dawis) and Jane (Hana Bookman) in the new musical The Lily House at the NYU Graduate Music Theatre Writing Program! Book/Lyrics by Gabriella Balsam and Music by Simon Lee.
In this new musical inspired by the Mark Twain classic, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Chrysten played the supporting role of Aunt Polly opposite Danny Kornfeld as Sawyer, Esteban Suero as Finn and Gillian Hassert as June at the NYU Graduate Music Theatre Writing Program! Book/Lyrics by Colin Gallagher and Music by Justin Gates.
Chrysten played the supporting role of adoptive mom, Dianne, to Lindsey (Emily Borromeo) and Amber (Lisa Helmi Johanson) in the new musical Feathers on the Wind at the NYU Graduate Music Theatre Writing Program! Book/Lyrics by Fish Cui and Music by Sean Pallatroni.
Chrysten read several roles in a table reading presentation of the indie film Boys in Summer, written by Dennis Shinners and produced by Liz Ortiz and I Ain’t Playin’ Films.

What makes an idol and and what makes an icon? How do they differ? What does that difference mean? In her second solo cabaret show, Broadway World Award Winner Chrysten Peddie returns to the Metropolitan Room to explore just that. Featuring a blend of pop, rock, sacred music and musical theatre, Chrysten Peddie will take you on a personal and poignant musical journey, examining her musical roots and discovering what it means to be an idol or an icon.
Chrysten Peddie has been performing professionally in NY and on regional stages for the past 15 years. Since her cabaret debut back in 2013, she has been a regular at the Metropolitan Room. She has appeared on the Metropolitan Room stage as a part of Broadway on 22nd Street, It's Only Love, Gone too Soon: A Tribute to Whitney Houston, and most recently Gone too Soon: A Tribute to Karen Carpenter. Other cabaret venues include Stage 72, the Laurie Beechman Theatre and Joe's Pub. She debuted her first solo cabaret show, TOO DAMN TALL, last year at Metropolitan Room and received glowing reviews as well as the Broadway World Award for Best Cabaret Debut!
